Maintenance & care :

How do you clean a grater?

Wash the grater using dishwashing liquid, water and a microfiber cloth, just as you would clean dishes. However, keep in mind that you want to wipe the grater in the direction of the blades (the opposite of grating), so that you don't destroy your fingertips.

Kitchen Graters

Coarse holes (which vary in width from grater to grater) are useful for shredding vegetables (like potatoes and carrots), as well as firm or soft cheeses (like cheddar and mozzarella); fine holes are good for thinner shavings from citrus zest, garlic, nutmeg, ginger, and hard cheeses

Kitchen graters are useful for making a variety of recipes because the grating slots on different graters come in different sizes. Many soft foods can also be grated with them. They are typically used to grind nutmeg, ginger, nutmeg, citrus peel, nutmeg, cheese, veggies, and vegetables to produce zest.
