This is a very small size iron kadhai. It measures 7 inches and weighs 450 grams. It is ideal for making henna mehandi paste in small quantities and for handling small cooking tasks only. Seasoning to be done before first use: Cut an onion into fine pieces and fry it in the kadai with 3-4 spoons of oil for 20-25 minutes to remove any surface carbon deposits and discard the fried onion. Generally, it is believed that cooking in iron utensils, for example, a pan, gives medical advantages. It is said that when you cook food in iron vessels, it responds with the metal surface. Thus, iron gets released in the food.
