• Thottil Kambu is a cradle stick made out of wood. It is used for babies to sleep in the cloth cradle (Thottil), in a traditional method.
  
• It is used to part the cloth cradle from the top, so that the baby gets good air circulation.
  
• It can also be used to tie the hanging go around toy for the baby to play with.
  
• The thottil kambu has a provision to rope it to the hook of the cradle. This prevents the stick from the risk of falling on the child
  
• This provides a peaceful and a deep sleep to the baby, which ensures proper brain development in the early stages of childhood.
  
• It is possible to find an acceptable amount of variation in shape, weight, and color. This is because it is difficult to say the exact amount as it is handcrafted
