MAINTENANCE: After cooking, wash with a mild soap solution using a soft brush and keep on the stove top to bone dry; wipe and give it a thin coat of any vegetable oil. It becomes non-sticky and your food will taste the best.

Seasoning to be done before first use: Cut an onion into fine pieces and fry it in the kadai with 3-4 spoons of oil for 20-25 minutes to remove any surface carbon deposits and discard the fried onion.

How To Use

First wash the Iron Pan using the dish washing liquid or soap. Do not use the steel scrubber, use the normal scrubber and wash it nicely. Wipe it properly and add few drops of oil and little salt on the pan. Spread it nicely on all sides of the pan and rub it. Wash it nicely. After that heat the iron pan till it is hot, apply oil on the surface, rub a piece of onion all over and then allow it to cool. Wash it and it is ready to use. Do not soak in water for long before wash. If the cookware is not used for long, we recommend that you apply a coating of cooking oil and store it to prevent surface rusting.
