  • Small Size Hand Grinder

  • Material: Pure Stone, When the product is dry it is nearly white but when it’s wet it becomes black. These properties are only found in natural rocks not in artificial concrete.

  • Our material is hard enough to crush the substance rather than be worn away by it. It’s not brittle like concrete, so our product does not break during the pounding and grinding. It’s also cohesive, so that small bits of the mortar or pestle do not mix in with the ingredients.

  • We choose Smooth and non-porous materials which does not absorb or trap the substances being ground.

Ammikal or Sil Batta

It is a rectangular shaped rough unpolished stone with a cylindrical, movable stone on top is used to make wet/dry masalas and chutneys in Indian households. It must be highlighted that the stone grinding process produces flour with higher fibre content, more vitamins and minerals, and a lower glycemic index, which is extremely healthy for human consumption.
